The Hills Have Eyes (2006) Review:

A really good remake! The movie is a great combination of the innovative storyline and characters from the original Wes Craven’s movie, and the genius mind of horror director Alexandre Aja (Maniac, High Tension, Mirrors). Aja makes a superb job at keeping what was good in the original movie and simply improving the weak point by speeding up the movie, adding lots of very graphic scenes and some new twists to the plot. The results is stunning, a very tense and stressful movie. The deformed savages are really scary and disgusting. I am sure that both those who have and haven’t seen the original will love that movie. Thumbs up!
